New project for '08 -- Fireflies
I just spent some time coming through some eBay listings and ordered some supplies to make some LED Fireflies. I'll post up some photos of these in a couple of weeks.

2007 Halloween Night
Here are the stats from 2007. What happened to all the Ninja's ?? Princesses dominated again this year -- big surprise there! I was glad to see good old Zombies and Pirates making a comeback. Most shocking was a visit from good old Abe Lincoln and Scream's Brother! There was also one Pimp, which is odd because I'm pretty sure the neighborhood watch permanently eradicated pimps back in the 30's.
*Margin of error huge (+/- 25%) as I forgot most of the costumes or could not identify them.

Halloween is in one week!
Just checked the weather for Halloween, high of 62 low of 40. That's a good 10 degrees warmer on both ends then last year -- should be perfect for fog effects. I've often heard the secret to low lying fog is being able to chill it below the ambient temparature.

Halloween 2007
First post of this year. Halloween items should be arriving at some stores in the next couple of days, it'll be interesting to see what's available. Rather then introduce any new props this year I'll be spending time perfecting what I already have. One thing I'll likely do is replace the tombstones with larger realistic extruded foam designs. I also need to find a way to re-attach the left tree limb as I had to cut it off in order to store it.
